Summary:

In this document we will introduce you to Downloading and installing a customised Skins into the Game.

We will use the VSK5 - ACC - "VSK-AUS Green and Gold Skin" for this example. All other skins are exactly the same, just substitute the skin name and the boat class as required.

Instructions:

• Locate the actual File and Click on the Download link. The thumbnail picture is there for you to preview the skin before downloading it to your computer.

• When prompted by your Web Browser select to save the zip file to a folder. In this case the file name is VSK-AUS Green & Gold.zip. Save this file to anywhere on your computer e.g. My Downloads

• With the File now on your computer, we need to Copy it to the correct directory so that Virtual Skipper can read the skin into the game. In Windows explorer My Downloads open the directory that you save the file to, in this example

• Right click and select Copy to copy the file to the clipboard.

• In Windows Explorer Open The Directory "My Documents\32nd America's Cup\Skins\Boats\ACC"

Out of the Box the directory ACC does is not created by the Game. You will need to create this directory (and a directory for all other boats ie Melges, RC 44 etc etc)

Note this may be different for Windows Vista users - it will be "Documents\32nd America's Cup\Skins\Boats\ACC"

• Right click and select Paste to past the file into the correct Skin Directory for Virtual Skipper.

When you load the game you will now be able to select the skin in Setting/Boats/ACC
